Anti-Inflammatory Tea
This makes 4 servings
Ingredients
4 cups filtered water
1 tablespoon fresh turmeric
1 tablespoon fresh garlic
2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 pinch black pepper
The How To
In a sauce pan or a pot, add filtered water, grated turmeric, grated ginger, and freshly cracked black pepper.
Mix and bring it to a boil on high heat.
When it starts to boil, bring the heat down to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Turn off the heat and allow the tea to rest for a minute
Add 1-2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice in serving cups and pour the tea using strainer.
Serve immediately
*add honey or maple syrup and a slice of lemon, if you’d like!
