Kale Chips (Sweet or Savory)
These chips are so easy to make, whether you have a dehydrator, or simply using your oven. Switch up the flavors and seasonings according to your taste buds. Even my kids love these. I leave them in a bowl on our counter for quick bites of salty and savory goodness!
Ingredients
Set Dehydrator at 160’ or Set oven for 350’
1 Large Bunch of Kale (Curly Kale…Pre bagged and chopped Kale works also, but these will be smaller chips)
1-2 TBSP Olive Oil (Just enough to glaze each piece…no dripping Kale!)
1 TSP Salt
2 TSP Garlic Salt (or any seasoning you enjoy)
The How To
Remove Kale leaves from stems and tear into about 1-2 inch pieces.
Place Kale and Seasonings in Large Bowl. Mix thoroughly, until each piece of Kale has oil and seasoning.
Lay in single layer on racks for dehydrator. Bake them for 2 hours.
Lay in single layer on baking sheet (with silicone or parchment paper). Bake for 10-15 minutes. Don’t burn the edges!
Enjoy!!
