Anti-Inflammatory Tea

This makes 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 cups filtered water

  • 1 tablespoon fresh turmeric

  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic

  • 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 1 pinch black pepper

The How To

In a sauce pan or a pot, add filtered water, grated turmeric, grated ginger, and freshly cracked black pepper.

  • Mix and bring it to a boil on high heat.

  • When it starts to boil, bring the heat down to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes.

  • Turn off the heat and allow the tea to rest for a minute

  • Add 1-2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice in serving cups and pour the tea using strainer.

  • Serve immediately

*add honey or maple syrup and a slice of lemon, if you’d like!
