Winter Fruit Salad

We love fruit in our house. It is our candy, if you will. This salad is somewhat new to the mix. It has all sorts of amazing vitamins to fight off winter colds and bring up your energy levels during those sluggish winter days.

Ingredients: (4 servings)

2 Pears Chopped

2 Apples Chopped

4 Mandarins Peeled and Segmented

1 Cup Dried Cherries

1 Cup Pomegranate Seeds (Optional-my kids don’t like how crunchy they are)

2 Kiwis Peeled and Chopped (I add these right before serving. They can get mushy.)

Juice of 2 Limes

1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup

The How To:

Throw all the ingredients in a bowl.

Toss it up.

Serve it up.

I like to chill mine for about and hour, but it still tastes delicious right after making.
